In the summer of 1968, Machiah (“Mark”) Nourieli and his father Naftali (“Nat”) Nourieli opened up a restaurant equipment business on the famous Bowery “Restaurant Supply Street” in lower Manhattan in New York City.
Nat was an experienced businessman who for many years was an owner and operator of supermarkets, delis, bakeries and restaurants.
Mark is an experienced certified air-conditioning, heating and refrigeration mechanic. As a teenager, he worked for his father helping him operate various food service businesses. It was only natural that they would join forces, combine their talents and expertise as equal partners, and focus their energies on helping and guiding other businessmen build and maintain food service businesses. Mark and his father operated their business together for many years.
